About the Job
We often see an increase in families seeking care for aging loved ones after spending more time together—whether it’s during a family visit, a milestone celebration, or simply checking in after a while apart. These moments often highlight the need for extra help at home to ensure seniors remain safe, healthy, and supported. This ongoing demand creates meaningful opportunities for compassionate caregivers who want to make a real difference in the lives of others. If you’re ready to join a team that values connection, respect, and purpose, we’d love to hear from you!
Our caregivers help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) such as Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Ambulation, and running errands. You will also help with medication reminders, documentation and light housekeeping. No experience is necessary to apply, we are happy to train you if there’s anything you do not know! The ideal candidate will have empathy, and be attentive, patient, and skilled in assisting with daily activities in a safe and respectful manner. We treat our employees the same as our care recipients, with dignity and respect while ensuring each team member has the resources needed to succeed at their job with opportunities to grow.
Shifts take place in the client’s home which may be located in one of the following cities: Austin, Buda, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Kyle, Wimberley, and San Marcos. We assign shifts based on your availability and location, though consistent availability is required. Our shifts will be no shorter than 4 hours and no longer than 12 hours. We do have some overnight shifts which are 12 hours long. New caregivers may be assigned weekend shifts to help cover the large volume of open shifts on the weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Provide assistance with lift transfers and mobility, ensuring the client’s safety and comfort
- Monitor the client throughout the shift for safety and well-being
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Assist with repositioning and comfort care as needed during the night
- Provide companionship and emotional support by being pleasant and supportive
- Report any changes in the client’s condition to the family or healthcare team
- Ensure the client’s environment is clean, safe and organized
How to Qualify:
- Have deep compassion and respect for anyone under their care
- Have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during their shift
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others
- Possess strong ethics, and be reliable and punctual
- Be 18 or older
- Experience in home and community care
- CNA or home care aide certification would be a plus
